Well, Wii U Party is for the casuals too. Really they did a good job of appealing to both bases. You got Wii U Party, Wii U Fit, Mario Kart for casuals (and hard-core Nintendo fans like Mario Kart too... everyone basically likes Mario Kart) and Zelda(s), Smash, 3D Mario, X, FEXSTM, Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3 for hard-core. Yoshi probably fits into both camps too.
This was very "something-for-everyone", and was really well done.
