Is Sony Hinting Towards a Tales of Vesperia PS3 Port for the West?

PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Vesperia to their Western audience since its initial Japanese release on 17th September 2009. Petition groups and websites such as the Aselian Movement on Facebook and the Tales of Vesperia translation group (who have already changed the text from Japanese to English), have crept up.

Now the fans are at a buzz from Sony’s recent PlayStation Plus poll set up by the PlayStation Blog as it faintly mentions Tales of Vesperia. It asks for PS Plus members for what they want out of the service and as an example for a Current Gen Japanese RPG, Tales of Vesperia is displayed next to Final Fantasy XIII. This is a rather odd choice of game for the PlayStation Blog to use because this is a North American based blog site so why is Sony Computer Entertainment in the United States mentioning Tales of Vesperia? The only other mention is that they said that these games aren’t available for the PlayStation Store. Is Tales of Vesperia being worked on as a PlayStation Network title for the West? Maybe Sony is trying to gather information on whether or not Tales of Vesperia is wanted in the North Americas. Follow the Aselian Movement and the official “Tales of” page on Facebook for up-to-date information on this controversial matter or stay right here on PlayStation Euphoria for all your latest PlayStation news, reviews and interviews.
