Sometimes you make really good, insightful posts on interesting issues that get a lot said. And sometimes you take 5 paragraphs to ask something that could be said in 3 sentences. Just imo.

As for the topic, I really did not understand the upset about losing former 3rd-party exclusives. If they were lost in the sense that they went to Microsoft instead of being on Sony platforms, then I'd have some reason to be upset. But they're still here. I can still play Final Fantasy, Metal Gear & GTA on my PS3 (and tbh, they were the only 3 I really cared about anyway). Of course from a sales perspective it's a blow, but even then - am I upset that more people have access to these franchises than before? Not really.

For the last part of your post - as Pokoko says, what franchises are left to go over to Microsoft? Unless you mean that M$ moneyhats them to stay exclusive to 360 and not release on a PS platform at all, then I don't think that will happen. If it were to happen, then only something like Metal Gear Solid 5 would truly bother me, I think I am over Final Fantasy these days. And I cannot see that ever happening - because Kojima - and Japan. If, through some strange twist of fate, it did happen, then I would borrow a friend's Xbox to play it!

Just out of interest as a final point - what are the Rockstar & Capcom franchises that went multi-plat this generation? I assume you mean Grand Theft Auto for Rockstar (unless there's something I'm forgetting) which was a timed exclusive throughout the sixth generation for Sony - it's never been an actual exclusive. I'm at a loss for the Capcom franchise though. Is it Devil May Cry?
