I am not an AMD fan in any stretch (GTX 690 owner here) but if 8000 is their current version or their coming soon version I am going to guess it is almost certainly not specifically in any future console or those consoles will cost way too much for consumers in this economic climate. |
They won't cost that much, they are not even powerful. What AMD(ATI) does well is designing their videos card really well on a hardware level where Nvidia excels at software engineering, they are pretty much on par other than Nvidia having PhysX in some games.
