The gist of the article is that while personal posession and use of up to one ounce of actual marijuana, 16 ounces diffused in a solid (pot brownies) or 72 ounces diffused in a liquid, it is still illegal to sell it outside the medical marijuana system, or grow it at all, so there's an interesting legal limbo there, that unless pot brownies drop out of the sky, you will have committed a crime in acquiring that otherwise legal substance.

Oh, and the Attorney General said that their stance on enforcing the Controlled Substances Act isn't going to change, so you'll still commit a felony level offence for, for instance, possessing or smoking pot in a National Park in Colorado or Washington State.

Statist i may be, but this is just silly. Laws passed should have provisions in them to make them not self-incriminating. It's like if someone gave you the power to breathe fire but didn't give you resistance to the heat of your own fire.
