Mind Charge + Agidyne combo is pretty powerful, and he should last you till either the next dungeon or the one after, not sure. He's also a good NG+ demon (unless you get Yoshitsune much later on in your playthrough in which case you can just forget using Black Frost and use Yoshi for the entire game because Yoshi is a very high level demon and you can use him forever while Black Frost loses his usefulness eventually).
