This is tough. I want to chose half the characters from Borderlands 2.
1 - Handsome Jack, Borderlands 2. One of the best villains in videogame history. I love that he calls himself the Hero.
2 - Maya/Gauge, Borderlands 2. Maya is a badass and Gauge's commentary cracks me up.
3 - Blizz, SWTOR. He's a Jawa, which automatically makes him hands down the best companion character, period. So incredibly adorable.
And, uh, I just realized that most of the games I've played this year are from last year. This is what happens when you're poor and refrain from buying games at full price. Also, I spent the first third of 2012 MMOing.
