Sony has asked many in the gaming industry to wait until the  Vita has had it's first Christmas holiday (it'll be it's second since it released in Japan last Christmas holiday) before judging the system as a failure.  Will the Vita finally find breakaway success this holiday after releasing most of it's big name titles? Along with great titles, the PS Vita seem to be having a fire sale this holiday slashing the systems price to $199 and bundling the newly released AC: Liberation (a great game that deserve to sell millions).  With such direction for the handheld, will Sony finally find success for it's portable console on the go?  In my humble opinion the Vita should sell(not ship) at least 5 million units before Christmas day to be considered a non-failure.  Anything less would be considered a bomb in light of all the things Sony has done for the system this holiday and how long the system has been out.  I want to hear what people think is 5 mil units sold for the Vita too much to ask after all this time?  Should the system have a lower expectation 4 mil perhaps or am I suppose to predict higher like 6-8 mil since it is about to have it's first global holiday?  What should Sony expect from the system in light of their current financial situation? http://www.businessweek.com/news/2012-11-14/sony-shares-plunge-after-convertible-bond-offer
