Of course they could change tradition... but going by it, the true main problem with this game is that Final Fantasies are usually (almost always) released in the end of the year.

And since Lighting Returns is scheduled for the end of next year... I don't think they will put 2 PS3 FFs against each other. So that leaves end of 2014 (!!??) for this game in japan and Spring 2015 (????!!!!) for the localized version.

Well, I don't think they could be THIS much crazy.

Theres no strict scedule of mainline title releases for the Final Fantasy franchise, merely loose patterns + Its not like its FFXV, its essentially a spin off.

A spring 2014 launch is possible but since FFXIII-3 only has a unrealistic target release for 2013 (the game was only 30% complete in september) I'm hoping there is the tiniest chance this game may come out fall 2013 and XIII-3 sometime 2014. I actually like the sound of FFXIII-3 despite being unimpressed with the  1st and shocked by the poor quality of the 2nd. I hope they take their time with it.
