The big thing I see Nintendo doing is really going hands on with developers. They're publishing Bayonetta. They're publishing Lego City Stories. Publishing Ninja Gaiden 3. Putting Mario characters in Scribblenauts, Mario costumes in Tekken. Putting Rayman Legends on all their Wii U displays, allowing Ubisoft tons of stage time at their conference, packaging Zombi U/Monster Hunter with the Wii U.

Nintendo seems to be taking a more aggressive stance with getting third party support, even going so far as to take the risk of publishing. We'll see if this pays off.
