According to facts, the ipad mini has already pushed out a million units. Nothing can keep up with that. If it outsells all of the consoles this holiday what does that mean? ios games are already getting game of the year and game of the month from reviewers. Maybe Apple is the future of gaming after all?

"According to facts..." this statement made me chuckle :D

Why not provide a link to the facts?

The only fact I'm aware of is that Apple announced 3 million iPad sales over a weekend. Analysts are only speculating (perhaps with the help of consumer surveys or supply chain interviews) how many of those were Minis, 4s, or even discounted 3rd gen iPads.

Now, looking at past performance, Apple shipped some 14 million iPads last quarter, and tallying up console sales over the same period gives me 7.9 million consoles sold from July to September. Consoles might see a larger holiday boost, but I think it's a pretty safe bet that there will be more iPads sold than game consoles this quarter. More iPad Minis? Probably not. The Mini seems to be supply constrained for now, even if they did constitute the majority of iPads sold.
