Just thought I'd toss out a comparison between these two new devices and see what happens. I think reading through this is very apparent the Chromebook is a far better choice for hardware in everyway except touchscreen AND its 1/2 the price. I mean CPU and GPU are far better and everything else is equal.

Software is debateable as Chromebook is well, Chrome with tons of apps through their store and full internet (office suite through Google Docs, can be saved as any MSOffice doc). Windows RT is similar to Windows but clearly not identical. So far its software will be gimped as compared to Windows (or other tablets Android/iOS).

For games, it should be obvious Chromebook has better potential (latest tech & DX11). However, that will really depend on what Google does with their game offerings in store next year. Last May they stated 2013 would be a big push in gaming.

What's your opinion?

*GPU comparison - This is actually with the Mali 400, a lower-end Mali GPU and is where I pulled the GFLOPS data above from. The newer T-604 simply blows away the Tegra3's GPU.
