1. You mean to take out a good player who has a role that some people are finding such a difficult time believing?

my motive there was mostly saying that claiming that the kill was to set you up isn't likely.

Have you been a good player this game? have you found scum? helped clear a townie? you have evaded questions. changed subjects, hinted at a role you didn't have. played a role you had very poorly.

You often get killed in the first few nights. Had you done this this round and been right about scum or town, I'd say you played the role the best way possible. Instead you are playing it to survive as long as possible, garnering suspicion on yourself for what you do all along the way.
