we generally have no option to stream movies and tv series in a proper and legal way. there are some options, but they are either expensive or simply not good.
i do have a lovefilm account, they're sending me 4 bluray disks per month for 10€, but the streaming portfolio isn't really big, and low quality.
perhaps its just not popular. same as pay-tv. germany has "Sky" which were premiere first. maybe you know the guy who owns it: murdoch. but it's just generating losses, noone wants it
