Basically what's happened:

Prof "claimed" lie detector role

Basil doesn't seem to be answering the question "are you a townie"

LOTS of riddle analysis

I've been arguing with Truck and Wonk

...and the rest is just filler, really :)

What is the lie detector role for?

It basically means you can message the host at night saying "is this person telling the truth?" and they'll get an answer the next morning - very powerful role.

However, it turns out that I failed, and Prof never actually claimed this role
