Microsoft should really just buy Nokia. They are a deal of the century at the moment due to low stock price.

Nokia is a company with $10.371 Billion in Liquidity (Liquidity = Current Assets - Current Liabilities) and looking at their stock, they are valued at $15.904 Billion (Market Cap). Just do the math; if Microsoft bought Nokia right now, they would only spend $5.600 Billion, and the rest they would receive back in cash from Nokia.

This is chump change and is less than they paid for Skype and half what google paid for Motorola, which is not even close to Nokia in portfolio and market penetration.
