The US market is dominated by Andriod and Apple. Windows 7 Phone has seen slight increases worldwide, but the next few months will be really important for it. Nokia releases the flagship Lumia 900 phone in the Us in April; they are making a big push and sparing little expense. Its success in the US will probably be a slow uphill climb.

Worldwide should be a slightly different story. Nokia is a lot stronger outside the US. Worldwide, I believe WP7 will make strides in the coming months, as the number of Windows 7 Phone devices increase. As of right now, there are just so many Android options compared to the others. Apple, well they release a minor upgraded device every year and people eat it up. The profit margin on each device is suppose to be pretty high so if worse comes to worse they can offer a lot of different deals, if it was needed. Time will tell.
