EA pays people to troll competition and promote EA products

I still remember one corporate shill of VGC's early days, a guy who went on and on about how important powerful hardware is and how wrong the Wii is. Xbox and 360: good. PS3: good. N64 and GC: good. Wii: bad, bad, bad. Then stof more or less jokingly called him out on being a viral marketer and the next thing that happens is that the guy has a huge meltdown.

Some people who defend dishonorable practices of companies are just trolls (or got brainwashed by viral marketers), but others really get paid for it.

ethical question of the day being are the trolls who honestly believe this or the viral marketers who are just doing what they're paid to do more at fault?
