Honestly it amazes me that there are even people using forums that still don't know this kind of thing happens and is fairly common practice. I mean seriously you can pay people peanuts to do this for a job. Having just say 5 people who are posting 8 hours a day on ALL the major sites etc for one game is easily doable. It doesn't take a lot to steer the direction of a conversation and not long to make a post. If you have a few people you can even create consensus, influence thumbs up and downs etc.

Just recently on a game forum for NG3 there was a poster that was a reasonably new account, never posted on any board except the NG3 one, never posted anything negative, was often the first to post when new articles went up, spun negatives into positives etc etc. Talked about how excited they were for the game none stop. I pointed out that this was probably someone being paid to post this and got called paranoid by people. Then the account literally stopped posting on the forums the day the game released. After it was released (surely when you would want to discuss the game for how excited you were!) and actual gamers had it and were discussing it they simply disappeared and went from constant posts to zero.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.
