RE is an excellent choice. Just ask yourself if you want a time consuming, epic game to go along with it or if you want a quick, pick-up-and-play arcade game to go with it.

Both are great games but Starfox is very straight forward. It's got multiple paths, but you can be looking at the end credits one hour after you start the game if you don't die a lot and are decent in the free range levels. Zelda will require a lot of patience, exploring, and time. Resident Evil is somewhere in the middle between epic and arcadey. It's a beautiful game, though.

You won't regret either purchase but it really comes down to how much you want to invest in the game. A little bit but really exciting or a lot but really absorbing? The choice is up to you.
