It has just been announced that Jesper Kyd will be scoring Undead Labs XBLA title ‘Class3′.Kyd who is known for scoring games like Hitman and Assassin’s Creed, has the ability to really do it service to a still widely unknown title.
The first time I ever heard Ave Maria was in Hitman: Blood Money and I thought it was incredible, so much that I downloaded his version immediately. Jesper Kyd definitely has the ability to complement the rest of the title and could be responsible for really giving players a full experience.
For those of you who don’t know, ‘Class3′ is an arcade title that will precede an eventual zombie MMO for the Xbox 360. ‘Class3′ will showcase the gameplay and design that the MMO will have, but on a smaller scale. The arcade game will allow Undead Labs to do things like receive feedback to make the MMO better, build up hype, and most importantly in my eyes – get a strong Microsoft backing.
This could easily be the most off the radar title in development that is solely for Microsoft, and getting a famous composer like Jesper Kyd who has worked on AAA titles and is now going to be doing an arcade game, there must be a lot of faith in Undead Labs and their future.
