Don't think like that!  My girlfriend's nephew graduated from Clemson University on May 13, 2011 and at the age of 23, he'a ALREADY making more money than I ever will.  If you can take a shortcut to where you want to be by getting an education, there's no way you're wasting your time.

He majored in chemical engineering, if you're interested.  Apparently, they're in demand because he instantly had two jobs waiting for him.  Even when he did summer internships in 2009-2011, he was making more than me!
