I have to give 2 scores on this one:

SNES version: 9.6. One of the best games ever made, a relic of the days of yore.
DS version: 5.7. The extra stuff is clearly tacked on, and the mechanics were messed with, making the flow off.

Now, I have to ask someone about... E.T. (Atari 2600).
