E3 is a show. Companies show off their products. There are no prizes, no real awards, the company with the "best" show may not be the one with the best sales. E3 is not a competition, there are no losers or winners.
That being said, everybody knew going into this that Microsoft would have a less than exciting E3 this year, short of something amazing and unexpected. Sony will probably be predictable as well. (or already was? I'm not really keeping up minute-to-minute. or even hour lol) Nintendo could be very interesting, we'll have to wait and see.
