Game Update servers are still up .
And so are the store servers , you can still download thing if they were in your download manangment on the xmb. |
If I'm not mistaken, RDR has the firmware required to play the game on the disc itself which is a required install before you can even load the game up.
Game updates however, are available for various games and they will install if the console has a network connection. I've had several games install updates since the PSN servers went down.
I hadn't tried downloading any of my purchases via DL management though. It's interesting if those are actually accessible while the PSN Store and network is offline. Presumably they're on the same servers as all the game updates/patches.
