I hope nobody dies, not even Carmine (despite the fact that I voted for "Carmine must die!").  I like the guys and their chemistry a lot.  Marcus with his "I'm Batman, I can handle anything" attitude.  Dom with his loyalties and his personal struggles.  Cole with his trash talk and his grand entrances.  Baird with his comical "can it get any worse than this?" persnality.  I even liked the Carmine bros. youthful innocence/optimism.  But if I were a gambling man, here's what i think the odds are.  I'll even toss in how I think they could die:

-Domanic Santiago (1:2 Probability):  In the last announce trailer, Dom was just laying on the ground waiting to die.  There was no fight left in him.  Marcus saved his life but he looked a little disgusted in what Dom has become.  I think Dom is about ready to give up on fighting this losing battle.  His main inspiration died in GeoW2.

-Carmine (1:2 Probability):  In every Gears game, a Carmine has fallen.  The only hope for the latest Carmine brother is if people voted to save him.  I voted to have him die and I correctly picked President Obama, The Wii, 90% on the "Everybody Votes" Wii Channel, AND Greenbay over the Pittsburgh in the Superbowl.  I can't lose!  I don't know how Carmine is going to bite it.  If I had to guess, I'd predict his gun will go off by accident during some morale raising speech during the intro of GeoW3.

-Marcus Fenix (20:1 Probability):  If this is the final chapter (fat chance!), nobody is safe.  Marcus has proven to be a likeable, unlikely hero.  There's still some mysteries to learn about him, his past, and his father in GeoW3.  Still, he's a little one demensional.  I think that making the ultimate sacrifice will push him to the uppere echelon of video game heroes--right there with Solid Snake, Master Chief, Kratos, and that T-Block from Tetris.  Imagine a scenario where someone has to hold off an overwhelming army for a set amount of time while everyone escapes.  Marcus fires up his lancer and runs full speed into a horde of Locusts.  He fends off the horde while everyone else makes it to safety.  We never see his fallen body but we know there's no way he makes it out alive.  We just know he succeeded.

-Damon Baird (100:1 Probability):  Yeah, Baird could die but why?  He's there for comic relief and to paint a picture.  Baird is there to describe how bad things smell, how disgusting something is, or generally how shitty things are.  Why kill a character like that?  Then again, he was captured by the Locusts and put into one of those tanks.......plus, I hear "Rust Lung" was going around during that period.

-Augustus Cole (1000000:1 Probability):  You CAN'T stop the Train, Baby!!

--Of course, who's to say we won't have some new people get killed.  There's a couple of hot chicks when you only need one.  Tai didn't make it through the last game.  Dizzy is sort of a one note character.  I don't know.  It's going to be fun finding out, though!
