Castlevnaia and Mega Man, but Street Fighter was from the arcades, and Metal Gear started on the MSX. Also, Mega Man never really left Nintendo, nor did Castlevania (especially on WiiWare). So Final Fantasy is the series that was born and left.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
