Better than Half-Life 2? Not even close (like light-years behind, somewhere between zero chance and no way). The game is fun but come on, the story is really (and I mean really) bad or was there even a story? Seemed like a prologue to the sequel to me. I'll admit though that there were some funny lines in the game and it was really fun early on but then it started to get kind of repetitive and considering how short it is, that's not very good.
I'd give it about 7.5/10 while Half Life 2 gets a 9.4/10.

It's great that you enjoyed it a lot though, our taste must just be really different.

Pretty much this 100%, and then some... I'm not going to make a personal attack on your opinion, although if Bulletstorm to you was the best FPS shooter you've ever played, beating out said games.... That really says something about how much your opinion of games can be taken seriously. I know this is simply your opinion you are stating, yet a part of me keeps hopin you are kidding, like a late April fools joke. Better than Half Life 2? Really? The story was good for a few chuckles but it got old very fast. The story seems to have been written for 13 year old boys strugglin with their sexuality and puberty all at once. It was a very simplistic story, yet made no sense, and ultimately left me (and most others) very unsatisfied. I love my games to be funny at times. But I'm much more one for intellectual humor, thoughtful humor. Rather than bold, in your face, 'funny when I was 13', type of humor. All that being said, the game as a whole was barely mediocre. To make statements like this, to be honest, is kind of embarrassing. As a whole, the game is a mediocre 6/10, at best. Let the raging nerds begin (:

No he wont need it.

All the thingshe mentions which he didnt like is exactly why in todays climate of games I loved.

Dont care for the story at all. It was Duke Nukem humour and brilliant gameplay. All in a Duke Nukem style. Absolutely loved it because it didnt take itself seriously. It was never meant to be nothing more than a game.

Brilliantly done.
