I can't bring my self to vote Heph today based only on that confession, but it is deeply troubling.  Hephaestos are you going to promise you've turned over a new leaf? 

Or were you just trying to emphasize what an honest mafia you are this game?!

why would I lie as mafia? besides the obvious "are you mafia" question, lying as mafia is the best way to slip up.

However, as a townie, you have to actively look for mafia, thus some lies are necessary, unless you have a power role (and besides 1 doc and 1 roleblocker, I never had these)

I find it ironic that you of all people are surprised by this. You lie all the time with your vote. We have Fos, HoS and Vote, the latter meaning that you are pretty convinced that the person is mafia and would be fine with the day ending with them lynched, yet you typically vote for 3-4 persons every day, giving the town false information and in the mean time confusing your image in order to be less readable. Now you'll argue that this is not lying per say, but it spreads just as much if not more confusion on the town.
