Let's say the nuclear plant melts down completely. What does that mean for japan? I have little knowledge here. Does that mean that that particular area of japan becomes unusable for many years? Does it mean a bunch of neighboring cities need to be evacuated and japan? I heard radiation could get carried through the jet stream and get to the states. is that true?
