*disclaimer: you all know me, i'm not a robber. i don't need to be for a lousy $20 :P*

*edit: does anyone know how to share a game?

I bought a $20 PSN card and tried to add the funds. This isn't the first time I've done this so I knew the steps (and I'm not an idiot). I bought FF7, FF8, FF9, RE2, Suikoden, and Castlevania already previously. I put in the codes, and I'm able to get to the next screen where it says "there's $20 on this card, do you want to add these funds to your wallet? Yes/No". I click yes, and then the strange message appears:

"The funds could not be added to your wallet"

I can't understand. The system obviously recognizes that the card is authentic, because it acknowledged the amount in the card. Why is it not accepting? Anyway I've contacted Sony and they're asking me to provide a whole load of information and fax all that stuff to them... All that work isn't worth the $20 since they're probably just going to give a runaround. I don't believe that it's my problem anyway. I bought the card from a legit source where I bought the same things from before and this is the first time I've had a problem.

Anyway, long story short: I've been trying to add the funds for three days and it keeps giving me that message. Now, I figure this might be because It's a US PSN card. I'm using a US account but I'm in the Philippines now. Maybe Sony is now restricting buying stuff from other countries even with the same kind of account.

I'm willing to give this card (the code) away to someone here and test if it works. If it does, then you can keep the funds for yourself and at least it didn't go to waste. I have a favor I want to ask though. The only reason I bought that card was to buy Xenogears on PSN. If you get the card to work for your PSN, perhaps you can buy the game (only $10) and share it with me...

Well anyway.. that's my situation. I really want to play it. Any takers? Kind souls willing?
