Considering the strength of this quake, how big was/is the tidal waves that was sent across the pacific? Small islands would have also be devistated mattering the size. Austrialia should have also been affected by a big wave.

I think there were over 50 countries that could be affected, the last ones being in SA like Chile and Peru almost a day after it started, for what Ive heard, the waves havent caused much damage in other countries it hit.

What sucks is that Japanese will suffer more aftershocks, big ones of probably over 7.0, and these things last for over a year, we had one aftershock of the 8.8 that happened last year a few weeks ago that was 7.2 or something like that.

Ya, I expect there to be a ton of aftershocks.

I wonder how badly shaken the ring of fire is now. Could be the start of some massively bad quakes and volcanic activity. I just hope the super volcano under Yellowstone doesn't go off because of all this, that will basically destroy the USA, Canada, Mexico, and others in this hemisphere.

I think a volcano in Indonesia made eruption a few hours ago after the quake in japan, 2 volcanoes here in chile have made eruption in the last 2 years, I cant say if its a trend, maybe its just normal.

And the yellowstone volcano would be a catastrophic disaster, probably with apocaliptic type of results, so lets hope these 2 earthquakes in the last 2 years are the big thing for at least a few years more and we dont have that type of disaster in our lifetime.
