Weak sensation of speed present in GT5 is a realistic representation of what it really looks like, though.

I suppose so.  I guess that just doesn't have as much appeal for me as the stuff Criterion puts out.  What really bothers me is the disparity between "standard" and "premium" models, specifically in the realm of damage modeling.  The whole "bumper cars" thing seems to really fly in the face of the "realism" the game claims to strive for.
