Its because im being realistic about a hyped Playstation exclusive, if i was doing the exact same thing for say Forza 4 or Halo 5 then nobody would be saying anything.

 

People would say something if you did it on Forza/Halo. Difference is, you haven't.

No they wouldnt if someone started saying Halo Reach will sell 15 million copies and i said itd be lucky to sell 10 million nobody would call me a "troll" no because unlike with GT, people were actually mostly realistic with their predictions for those games. The over the top hopes only happen with PS3 exlusives.

Like MAG selling 2 million or Killzone selling 4 million or GOW3 selling 5 million etc.

But still 6 million for Forza yeah thats a bit much.

2 million Week 1 for Fable, people were saying 1.7 million, it did 1.15 million meh thats not all that off, i cant see the poll so i dont know what the results were.

Fable 3 doing 3.2 million by the end of year wont happen but it could have happened, it was possible for it to happen.

But with GT5 41% of people think it will sell over 15 million, nearly more than MW2 and GTAIV combined. And it wont, it has no chance at all of doing that. Even half of that would be good.

Vgchartz predicts an opening of 1.8-2.2 million, if it has the same legs as GT4 it wont even get to 9 million. And we all know games dont have such good legs this gen.

Keep hanging on to that poll.

Anyway, you said that only PS3 fans predict huge numbers for exclusives, I show you that it happens to the 360 just as much, and to Wii games too, go see the conduit predictions. Now, give it a rest would you. No matter how fans predict, your wishes, GT5 will be a success..... let it go.
