My response would be that they needed to do something different that wasn’t just a better version of what we already had. That would also help when marketing the product as you can clearly showcase the differences. Even if Kinect was less accurate than a Wii-mote or Move you could say well you don’t need a controller at all and Kinect can track your feet etc. They basically took a risk similar to Nintendo and lucky for them so far it looks like it was the right decision. |
So you're pretty much saying that if MS didn't announce something like the Kinect they should have announced something like the Kinect?
