200 years ago the year was 1810. Between then and now we saw further world wide European colonisation of much of the world, slavery, genocide of Indians, Napoloenic wars, WWI which left 16 million dead, WWII which left well over 60 million dead, the so called Cold War which nearly destroyed the planet and left millions dead, corporate globalisation which has left most private capital in the hands of the very, very few....surely a 180 degree turn would be a good thing???
