Why is everyone listing "No psp2" as a negative regarding the Sony's E3?

How in any way is this true? final fantasy, kingdom hearts, and metal gear are all going to the 3ds. 3DS now has EA, Ubisoft, and many other 3rd parties leaning towards it, so I don't see how anything is "Locked In"...

Yeah these were strong Sony 3rd party developers, which tells me there could be some cross platforming involved somewhere down the line. i dont think Sony would give up on the PSP2 just yet, there is a decent userbase for the PSP and it does provide some PSN uses.

the other thing is that the PSP is notorious for the continuing popularity of PS1 classics from the PSN, i think they could rework those classics with 3D for the PSP, like what nintendo are doing with Kindom Hearts.

oh and lets not forget, Sony might have something in store for us at TGS, we dont know yet, it makes sense not to announce everything now.
