If you're a game developer, what would you use to combat used game sales?

I'd give a security card with a code in the game. After they register once, I'll give them a second code so that you can have full access to the game in another console. I'll just keep giving new codes so that the card has seperate value and the ones without can't play anything more than a demo of the game or order a card online.
