Microsoft markets the hell out of it is why. How many games really get a big marketing push. Halo, God of War, FFXII, etc are a group of a select few. Others do but its a few commercials here and there. They really spend $$$$. It's a big launch event when it comes out. It sells almost 2 million in NA the first month alone. Hitting around 6 million over time WW, the game makes plenty of money. It's not most 3rd party games which are lucky to hit 2 million on one platform.
