Nintendo have up until this point been the company that focussed most on making a console. They resisted turning it into a multimedia centre, they resisted turning it into a PC. Sure, they have introduced some things like the internet browser, and Netflix. But it is never a big deal. they throw it out there for people who want it and go on making games.
