^yes which is why I said I don't even know if it's possible. I've never seen their quality control methods or standards, or polls on 360 HDD failures. So yes it could be hogwash, or it could have an inkling of truth I think the point is neither of us know whether it yields results.

look, its 100% Hogwash because all the testing in the world on the harddrive would not matter because they will go out anyway. It will die sooner or later.

but the real point.

think about how long would Microsoft check each drive for fault's, and do you think the HARDDRIVE companies don't test the drive any more than

Microsoft does?

One is software

the other

is HARDWARE

I just don't think with Microsoft's Quality control experience:

every product they have ever released that they have had their stamp on has alway's had problem's security hole's in software, and faulty hardware. that has been a staple from Microsoft, not trying to bash, don't want to come off that way, but it's the truth. at least from my experience, and i use Quite a bit of Microsoft product's every Day, just as an example My phone is an HTC 8525 windows mobile.

An I have been a windows mobile and windows CE user since well for a long time, and THE PHONE still has problem's with the software.

not many but some. Its expected, but to say the HARDRIVE'S that are better than the HardDrive in PC's is pure HOGWASH..they are the same  HardDrive. That HardDrive is no more special than any other PC laptop HardDrive.

and it's laughable that the PR person from Microsoft is trying to say that it is.
