Good Question. I think M$ have deeper pocket than Sony. They could buyout third partie developers to help them develop good gaming titles for their Xbox360 platform.
I own a PC, NDS, PSP for my gaming need. Always bought original for PC and NDS, spent about couple of thousand dollars on gaming titles. Only PSP i play ISO cause that the best way to play PSP games.
Sony just shoot themselve on the foot by forcing the player to experience their laggy UMD format instead of flash memory. Not much hope for PSP GO! as i don't like to pay and download games.
Nintendo make the right move by focus their game for younger crowd, kids mainly cause they will get the parent to buy games. I know some parent tried to be cheap by pirating games on R4. The child was laugh at in school for having fake unoriginal game, the parent were later force to buy original pokeman game which is not that expensive to begin with...
Serve you right!! Sony for designing violent and bloody games that target a more violent crowd like me!!! Most of us don't like to pay $50-60 for any games.
I buy original if it serve me better rather than to spend time and effort to seach for iso that might or might not work. UMD no!! no!! I am use to HDD and flash memory.
