 * - denotes a semi-exclusive or not verdict.  In Tiger Woods, the control scheme is hands down a huge difference, along with RE4 and Rayman.

Ok, interesting points:

1.)  Top two games for every console are exclusive, in-house published games by their respective companies.

2.)  Madden NFL '07 sold better on Wii than PS3

3.)  XBox360 is dominated by shooter-style games as top-sellers.  PS3 is dominated by Sports/Racing games.   Wii is dominated by....   no domination, actually.  The lines are NOT clear cut.

4.)  Ubisoft, as a 3rd party, has a definitive presence on Wii and XBox360, but not PS3.

5.)  EA dominates PS3 - presense still on all other consoles.

6.)  Call of Duty 3:  Japan = .03 million XBox360 sales, ....  actually, what i wanted to do was compare individual console sales and software sales of this single title, compared regionally, and to compare sales between360/Wii in the US, and PS3/Wii in Japan, which would have led to #7.

7.)  Call of Duty 3:  Estimating 10% to 20% Wii60 owners compared to probable Wii3 owners in Japan, and comparing Call of Duty 3 sales to non-dual owners.  I wanted to attempt a possible measurement of how many consumers really bought the shooter for PS3/360 instead of Wii, yet still play Wii for other games, INCLUDING exclusive shooters, like Red Steel, Metroid, RE4, etc, and by region.

I guess I will wander away feeling defeated now.  I was hoping for another 'hardcore' comparison by evaluating actual sales as opposed to opinions.  The genres, to me, were interesting, though.

Extra.)  Goldeneye Sales = 8.09 million.  Halo 2 sales = 8.31 million.  Pretty close!!  Except, I'm not sure if VGCHartz has data on Japan or not.  Japan had 5.55 million N64 sales, which could boost that 8.09 million up a ways.

8.)  I would suggest that 3rd parties NEED 360 and PS3 to exist on their home turfs.  In order for cross-platforms to sell, despite the development costs to punt on both platforms, publishers aimed at the Japanese market needs PS3, as well as American aims relish in XBox 360.  And they NEED Wii to help bring back older gamers who may have, wandered away out of.... boredom?  Repetition?  And they NEED Wii to make sure younger gamers that have parents who are protective trust Nintendo with, ahem, more 'childish games' (I disagree with that belief).  If they are playing games again, and now have money of their own, they may wander back to this thing called 'graphics' with the 360 and PS3.

Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players

Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability

Therefore, Checkers > Halo

So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.
