i believe that the real problem is the ton of shovelware the Wii gets, good games are like diamonds on a shelf with 30 shovelare and 5 great games let's say, but the image a buyer gets is that all games are bad and they run to the conclusion i don't like Wii games, and they end up only buying games they know are good, like Mario Kart or Smash because they've played at a friend and then Wii games have legs

if Nintendo wants real 3rd party support, the should ban fake supporters that only make shovelware in masses which takes up some precious space on a shop shelve

Wii has really good games, more than 50 let's say, but they are hard to find, most people have wrong impression about Wii games quality
