Why has piracy seemingly killed the psp but doest hurt the 360 too much?

LOL in my country the mayority of game shops sells backups games (for PS2, Wii and Xbox360).
A friend of mine has more than 70 PS2 games, all backups, and he paid less than U$S 3 each.
