No 1 console ever served everyone's entertainment interests. The Wii won't, PS2 didn't, PSX didn't, SNES didn't NES didn't, Atari didn't. The PS2 and prior dominant consoles did, however, serve the most people during their respective generations. The difference is that, unless things start changing significantly (which that can), the Wii may be the console to serve the most people this generation.
Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.
