For a teen romance that takes itself seriously, I'll go with Squall and Rinoa - Final Fantasy VIII. I fully understand why it turned some people off, though. For a more light-hearted romance, The Prince and Farah - Sands of Time. The ending was brilliant.

That was a fantastic story - and profoundly moving - but I'm not sure an erotic visual novel really qualifies. ;P
