OriGin said: But I'm not pro Nintendo I just think saying that it's Nintendo propaganda is baseless... I don't know if I like the way the industry is going either... But I haven't seen you be very pro Xbox at all... Do you just not like the way the industry is going because no one is buying you're favourite console? If you are one who likes hardcore complicated fun good looking games, then shouldn't you be more than happy? There are two consoles with some excellent power vying for your gaming dollar??? And there should be PLENTY of games between them both to keep you happy!? Just because the Wii has mainstream potential and is taking control of the mainstream, shouldn't that be better for you? There will be less rubbish on the console you favour and more on the Wii, more of an excuse for you not to buy one or own one? I personally am in too minds about myself as a gamer now... I like Nintendo's philosophy - as on one hand they are trying to make games fun for everyone again... slowly but surely (unless it's a REALLY good RPG or a REALLY good FPS) i've been losing interest in completing games... honestly, I have really not completed that many games lately, and I don't like that... the REALLY good RPG's and FPS's are too few and far between to satisfy my urges... I judge the quality of a game on how much it draws me in, how much it makes me want to pick up and play... I hate it when I get a game and I try to play it and try to enjoy it and then just get bored with it very quickly and then put it down not to play it any more... I need games to give me that drive and that want to continue playing. The reason I like Nintendo's philosophy is because they are trying to cater for this market, they want to draw me in with something simple and addictive. I'll be honest, the game I play the most right now at this point in time (and has lasted me at least 2 months) is Tetris DS. I get the draw and the want to play it more than anything else at the moment. I think next will be Half Life 2 Episode 2 and then perhaps Blue Dragon... but other than that, there really isn't that much on the horizon for me in 2007.
Those 2 powerful systems lost my dollar after they make it seem they don't believe in the product they are trying to peddle to me. Why would I buy a system that people who work for that company don't believe in?
