I haven't really played a lot of serious Wii games, but the party games are what's fun about it for me. It's required playing with one or more people, but getting a group playing Wii Sports is what I've found the most enjoyable from the Wii.

@SmokedHostage

"If I received a dollar for everytime I heard my mom say "where's the A button." before the Wii, I'd... probably wouldn't be a very rich person because she didn't want to play again because of the controller. At least with the wii, the controls are simple because they require actions that are done in real life, therefore simple to most."

I don't know, more casual gamers (including my parents) I've had to instruct on how to use the Wii controller with asked that question a lot. I'll agree that motion gestures and less buttons would probably be easier to remember, but I haven't had the same success as you. My mom has a habit of apparently letting go of B or "That trigger button" when she plays bowling in Wii Sports.
