On AC itself it's a given this will become the franchise's highest performer I can see this installment comfortably entering into the realm of Pokemon numbers, the Lite came not just in time for Pokemon but for this as well as not only for a cheaper SKU but to give the Switch a handy feature in sales that portables have and that is more than one per household the Lite makes that viable and that helps games like Pokemon and AC which are heavy on the social interaction side of things.
No doubt AC will get the consistent updates that helped make WW and NL huge successes, Tomodachi when that arrives should compliment AC well being the two major social sims in the first party library.
